He completed his MBBS from KIMS Hubli and his MD in Radiodiagnosis from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru. Following this he also completed his DNB, FRCR and European Diploma in Radiology. He has done his Fellowships in Interventional Radiology from prestigious Institutes like Sakra World Hospital Bengaluru, .Medanta Medicity Gurgaon and Artemis Hospital Gurgaon. He also trained under world renowned Dr. Jung Huan Beck for Radiofrequency ablation of thyroid nodules in Asan Medical Centre, Seoul, South Korea.
He is also an Executive Committee member of the Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology-Karnataka State Chapter.
His expertise lies in treating Varicose veins with Laser, RF or Venaseal; thyroid nodule ablation with RF or Microwave; Uterine Fibroid Embolization; biopsy, FNAC,Amniocentesis, Fetal reduction, Intrauterine fetal blood transfusion etc. He is committed in creating awarenes on minimally invasive Interventional Radiological surgeries and provide these options to the masses.
